Such pleasure, such delight,
We feel overwhelming joy,
Letting go and trusting God...
When we are silent, attentive,
or bursting into our thoughts,
the word of caution, of conscience,
“Go another way”...
We hear God’s whisper, His power,
the Spirit speaking within us,
to stop, to listen, to turn,
to follow God’s will...
We are convicted, caught off guard,
When we still ourselves and are open
We can receive His guiding...
God calls us to stop, to turn,
to change, to repent,
to confess our brokenness
our need for His love...
God wants to heal us,
to conform our steps,
But God wants us to choose Him
to walk in His light...
