Alexei #Navalny- v2 #funeral

Reading His widow’s words, beautiful,
painful, on the day of His funeral, no closure,
breathing love, yet loved ones unable,
to be there, to grieve, with one another,
by the wrath of the dictator, his fear…
 
Common people chanting, shouting, defiant,
speaking aloud his crimes, His name.
Navalny's name has been engraved
on the hearts of man, humanity,
chiseled into history, for all time...
 
Now, a day later, nothing has changed,
but everything has changed, a people,
still streaming to his grave, to honor Him,
martyr for a Free Russia, a hope they share,
Knowing the mantle has come to them,
each woman, each man...

He was killed, he was murdered #Navalny #Putin

Blood is on His hands,
another opposition leader,
internal turmoil, moral outrage,
international condemnation.
 
He hasn’t died, He hasn’t passed,
this wasn’t natural causes,
no matter what they may say,
the lies that they tell.
 
He was murdered,
He was killed dead,
by the One who feared Him,
the truth that He spoke.
 
The world stands in judgement,
all with a conscience, a heart,
condemning the madman, the demon,
who ordered His death…

His hands will never be clean – v3 #Putin #Navalny #Ukraine #poetry #ArmUkraineNow

His hands are stained with blood, so many, so many,
permanent scars, a gash in his hands, on his body.
Do they haunt him in the night, in the darkness?
 
So many people, martyrs, innocents, that he has
murdered, a list grows longer, every day.
His hands will never be clean.
 
He is death, evil, a little Satan, a devil,
a living specter, a terrorist, an embodiment.
He is the worst there is of man, of humanity.
 
He is stripped of all empathy, of conscience,
hiding in the bunker, with his demons.
Evil’s minions whisper to him, justifying death…
 
So many martyrs, so many innocents,
cry from their tombs, from the grave.
Their blood will forever be on his hands.
 
Their blood is burned on this flesh, a scar, a memory,
permanent, that will never fade away.
His hands will never be clean.

Stained with blood, so many, so many,
