Ukraine must prevail, must win…
Russia must be defeated, completely,
on the battlefield, in the economy,
on the world stage, right now…
 
No compromise, no capitulation,
no truce, no negotiating with terror…
They must be brought to their knees,
for this genocide, this madness to end…
 
Russia must become small again,
the Moskals put in their cages…
Russia must become Muscovy,
a pariah on the world stage…
 
Nothing short of total victory,
The complete defeat of Russia,
will rid the world of this cancer,
real peace to Europe, their land…

Russia is an anathema, a pariah,
but protected because of power.
Their nuclear stockpile is a threat,
all life on planet Earth…
 
There is one Enemy, Russia,
one clear and present danger.
There is one sponsor of terror,
above all others on Earth…
 
Russia is a nation-state, evil,
bent on conquest, metastasizing.
It will grow larger unless it stops,
feeding on our weakness, our fears…
 
There is one Enemy, Russia,
tentacles, tendrils, growing, reaching.
It only seeks to dominate, to destroy, to eat,
an appetite cruel, unceasing, eternal…
 
Russia is the virus, the plague, the cancer, killing,
The malignant tumor is growing, to be cut out.
It must be killed, removed, this threat,
before it kills more on this Earth…

This poem refers to the many nation states, not just Ukraine. Its scope includes all countries who are being attacked by Russia in many forms of hybrid war. And, the poem is a historic metaphor, acknowledging that this is the same Russia that inflicted the Tatar deportation and the Holodomor on Ukraine.

If #Russia is not stopped in #Ukraine – v3 #NATO #Poland #Romania #Estonia

Our worst fears are being realized,
stumbling toward Armageddon…
Drones flying into Poland,
NATO is responding with arms,
on the doorstep of Belarus,
because we were so timid,
so weak against hybrid war,
the terror of genocide…

We cannot live in delusions,
wishing away reality, this truth,
hoping peace will come quickly,
that the stars would align magically,
that his lusts would be vanquished,
that his goals would be quieted,
peace of its own accord, rising,
that the leopard would change its spots…

The brutal warlord, the man in the bunker,
this mass murderer of his people, of nations,
bent on genocide, on terror, on destruction
of one of its closest neighbors…
He will not stop, he will not relent,
giving up dreams of empire, of expansion,
willing to destroy everything, everyone,
happy to govern scorched earth…

If Russia is not stopped in Ukraine,
if Russia is not defeated, now,
Russia will not stop with Ukraine,
attacking other nations, other neighbors,
seeking to fulfill, to achieve,
subjugation of other people, lands,
to reconstitute a defeated empire,
that lives in his fevered dreams…

Shaking off the chains of the oppressor – v3

We see them yearning to breathe free, finally, again,
to walk, to live in their freedom, in peace,
shaking off the chains of the oppressor,
their neighbor, the bully, the hegemon,
taking up arms to defend, to survive,
a groundswell of protest, defiance,
a wave sweeping the nations, alive,
those who have lived under the boot,
of corruption, of their oppression, terror,
marching, shouting, fighting to be free,
to breathe the fresh air of freedom, liberty…
 
We must stand with all of them, in this moment,
all who have lived under the chains, the yoke,
the shackles of the aggressor, the one enemy,
denying each of them freedom, independence,
each of these people, these many nations, striving,
striving to free all of their people imprisoned,
we must support them as we are able, today,
so that they will walk in freedom, unburdened,
free to be as they each wish to be as people,
truly independent nations at peace…

Yearning to breathe free, finally, again,
to walk, to live in their freedom, in peace,
shaking off the chains of the oppressor
a wave sweeping the nations, alive,
a groundswell of protest, defiance,
taking up arms to defend, to survive,
those who have lived under the boot,
of corruption, of their oppression,
marching, shouting, fighting to be free,
to breathe the fresh air of freedom…
 
We must stand with them, in this moment,
each people, these many nations, striving,
all who have lived under the chains, the yoke,
the shackles of the aggressor, the one enemy,
denying each of them freedom, independence,
striving to keep all of these people imprisoned,
we must support them as we are able, today,
so they will walk in freedom, unburdened,
free to be as they each wish to be,

All of Europe turning,
feeling the pangs of freedom
stretching against Russia,
its awful heavy boot…
 
People gathering, marching,
rising against them,
the puppets, the strongmen,
those standing in their way…
 
Corruption rampant,
exposed, defiant,
people in the streets,
breathing free air…

Hybrid War is War – v2

Acts of war, lethal,
overt destruction, carnage,
prettied up with language,
denying the truth on the ground,
hemorrhaging of control, sovereignty,
withing our own nations, our boundaries,
needing to face the harsh facts…
 
Denial is just appeasement,
an enemy in its own right,
an artificial red line, hiding,
putting our heads in the sand,
pretending that this is an accident,
that these are not war crimes,
that they are not acts of aggression…
 
Hybrid war is war, evil, aggression,
though we fail to see it, deny it,
lost in our excess, our greed,
in our own personal shit, hiding,
not seeing the canvas, the context,
the far bigger picture, the truth,
chess pieces moved on the board….
 
We are in a hot war though we deny it,
for Putin the Cold War never ended,
no collapse of the Soviet Union,
nothing changed, no respite, no peace,
no change in Russia’s essential nature,
they were always our geopolitical Enemy,
as they always will be while he is in power…
 
Hybrid war, propaganda, terror,
boldness, poisonings, killings, sabotage,
pipelines, cables, election interference,
everything on the table, possible, permissive,
no red lines, no caution required, honestly,
when their enemy is silent, a state of appeasement,
no reprisals, just merely wringing our hands…
 
Their chess games are so different,
than how we see the world, as poker,
brinksmanship, influence, bluffing,
versus a relentless pursuit on the board,
willing to sacrifice pawns for their objective,
human life expendable, unimportant,
boldness, something we would never do…
 
Hybrid war a reality, wake up, we are at war,
all you leaders West of the Kremlin, vulnerable,
the man in the bunker is KGB, ready to attack,
learning from his elders, cold warriors,
willing to grab more land, corrupt power,
while we look at our cards, our choices,
we better act before it is too late…

Hybrid War – v2

Hybrid war, evil,
though we fail to see it,
lost in our excess, our greed,
in our own personal shit,
not seeing the canvas,
the far bigger picture,
pieces moved on the board.
 
A hot war though we deny it,
the Cold War never ended,
the collapse of the Soviet Union
meant nothing, no respite,
no change in their essential nature,
they were always our enemy,
as they always will be…
 
Hybrid war, propaganda,
boldness, poisonings, killing,
pipelines, cables, elections,
everything on the table, possible,
no red lines, no caution required,
when their enemy is silent,
merely wringing our hands…
 
Their chess games are so different,
than how we see the world, poker,
brinksmanship, influence, bluffing,
versus a relentless pursuit on the board,
willing to sacrifice for their objective,
human life expendable, unimportant,
something we would never do…
 
Hybrid war a reality, wake up,
leaders west of the Kremlin,
the man in the bunker is KGB,
learning from his elders, warriors,
willing to grab more land, power,

#Russia must be #defeated – v2

Ukraine must prevail, must win,
Russia must be defeated, completely,
on the battlefield, in the economy,
on the world stage, right now…
 
No compromise, no capitulation,
no truce, no negotiating with terror,
they must be brought to their knees,
for this genocide, this madness to end…
 
Russia must become small again,
the Moskals put in their cages,
Russia must become Muscovy,
a pariah on the world stage…
 
Nothing short of total victory,
the complete defeat of Russia
will rid the world of this cancer,
real peace to Europe, their land…

So incredibly sad that Ukraine is fighting the same terror and genocide today, that caused the Holodomor, the same Evil of Russia, and the world believes Russia can ever be negotiated with... Russia must be defeated.

Ukraine must prevail, must win,
Russia must be defeated,
On the battlefield, in the economy,
On the world stage, right now…
 
No compromise, no capitulation,
No negotiating with terror,
They must be brought to their knees,
For the madness to end…
 
Russia must become small again,
The Moskals put in their cages,
Russia must become Muscovy,
A pariah on the world stage…
 
Nothing short of victory,
The complete defeat of Russia
Will rid the world of this cancer,

Hybrid War

A hot war though we deny it,
the Cold War never ended,
the collapse of the Soviet Union
meant nothing, no respite,
no change in their essential nature,
they were always our enemy,
and they always will…
 
Hybrid war, propaganda,
boldness, poisonings, killing,
pipelines, cables, elections,
everything on the table, possible,
no red lines, no caution required,
when their enemy is silent,
merely wringing our hands…
 
Their chess game is so different,
than how we see the world, poker,
brinksmanship, influence, bluffing,
versus a relentless pursuit on the board,
willing to sacrifice for their objective,
human life expendable, unimportant,
something we would never do…
 
Hybrid war a reality, wake up,
leaders west of the Kremlin,
the man in the bunker is KGB,
learning from his elders, warriors,
willing to grab more land, power,
while we look at our cards, our choices,
we better choose before it is too late…

There is one #Enemy, #Russia – v3

Russia is an anathema, a pariah,
but protected because of power;
Their nuclear stockpile is a threat,
to life on planet Earth…
 
There is one Enemy, Russia,
one clear and present danger;
There is one sponsor of terror,
above all others on Earth…
 
Russia is a nation-state, evil,
bent on conquest, metastasizing;
It will grow larger unless it is stopped,
feeding on our weakness, ourselves…
 
There is one Enemy, Russia,
tentacles, tendrils, growing, reaching;
It only seeks to dominate, to destroy, to eat,
an appetite cruel, unceasing, evermore…
 
Russia is the virus, the plague, the cancer, killing,
the malignant tumor growing, to be cut off;
It must be killed, removed, this threat,
before it kills more on this Earth…

Freedom fills their lungs

Freedom fills their lungs,
hope dwelling within them,
every defender, everyone marching,
those defiant out in the streets….
 
Joy cannot be contained, hope eternal,
life is welling up, defiant,
resilient against the oppressors,
those who would cause them harm…
 
Life is coming, freedom, liberty,
shaking off the yoke of oppression,
the day of victory, of peace,
draws ever closer for them,
their joy will be complete…
