Buried under Rafah,
within the civilian population,
the enemy, the attacker,
the scourge of this land…
 
Ready for attack,
the enemy embedded,
seeking to drive innocents,
from their homes, this land…
 
What will become, truly,
of the enemy, these people,
how much care will be used,
to protect the innocents…

Forced into a corner – v2 #Rafah #Hamas #Israel

Lambs prepared for slaughter,
gathered into the pen, a prison,
boxed in, forced into a corner,
the Shepherd now their terror…
 
Nowhere to run, to hide,
corralled, forced into a corner,
Other turning away, hiding,
averting, covering their eyes…
 
The Shepherd now their terror
lambs prepared for slaughter,
lost in the world’s indifference,
caged, forced into a corner…
