Going to the Cross

After his challenge
who they believe him to be
foretelling of his impending death
nevertheless to carry on
laboring on, going to the cross
in this God is blessed

They struggled hard
those with him
a difficult lesson was this
letting go of our wants
things of this earth
taking up our cross instead
