why do we think we are
better?
How do we see our neighbors
the strangers in our midst?
We don’t really know them
their struggles, their personal
stories.
We cannot know the steps on
their journeys
what they have faced in this
life.
Why do we judge them,
why do we think we are
better?
We have never walked a step
on their path, in their
shoes.
