wasn't that moment
when
I met her at the church
The
many times we chatted
in
the after-church coffee hour
the
cookies, the brownies,
she
had made to share
No,
not in our class,
each
Tuesday night
Studying
God’s Word
It
was our first kiss,
that
first time I held her
falling
deep into her
warm
brown eyes
Feeling
her against me
Her
lips against mine
Joining
bodies, hearts and lives,
children,
and a family,
with
our first kiss
