my lover is mine

my lover is mine

and I am hers

we are bound together

our flesh is as one;

we were made for each other

one body, a union

consecrated by God

we linger in the garden

we walk in right paths

the way of the Spirit

drawn closer by God;

we strive together

to follow God’s word

God’s holy commands
