A cloak, a mantle,
a garment, a fabric
a skin of sin
the Lamb, our Savior
the sins of the world
placed upon His head.
Formed of clay, the flesh
made to be sin
imperfect, human
the eternal God,
become mortal, humble,
become our loving sacrifice.
A cloak, a mantle,

the curse of Adam
placed upon the Christ
our risen Lord and Savior.
