God’s nature, God’s character, is grace – v2

we are broken, sinful, like the Prodigal Son,
we are humbled, but we are exalted
repentant before our Father God, Abba,
knowing we are unworthy, a wreck.
 
God’s nature, God’s character, is grace,
loving us while we are broken
meeting us out on the road, joyful,
when the broken has returned…
 
we praise, we worship,
we fall on our knees, grateful,
embracing the immensity of grace
the love that God offers.
