A moment, forever,
“One of you will betray me;”
Stopped short by these words of Jesus
the unimaginable, such pain.
 
How could we betray Him?
This is our Lord, our Teacher
the loving Master we follow;
How could any one of us betray Him?
 
Christ is the way to life.
