Hear, oh #Israel, and be careful to obey

Listen to the words of Moses,
To the commandments of your God,
Hear, Israel, and be careful to obey,
All that He has told you,
All that God has commanded,
To receive your inheritance,
To abide in this Promised Land…
 
Listen, oh, Israel, to these ancient words,
To the promise of a land of milk and honey,
For an earthly kingdom, a place,
That you did not create, but a land
Promised to your ancestors,
If you listen, if you are careful to obey,
All that God has commanded…
