her face bright red,
or had she been out in the sun,
I don’t remember her face so bright
when I walked by them,
but I could be wrong…
Was it something he said,
aloud, out in public,
his body language shouting,
“Oh yes, I did, say that,
knowing I would get a reaction,
and it felt so good…”
