Christ was anointed,
Sent here on a mission,
Alive within His spirit,
The Spirit of the living God…
 
Christ was anointed,
He was commissioned,
Sent here on a mission,
To set each of us free…
 
Christ was anointed,
Alive as a mortal, God,
Come to raise us,
From the pit, the grave…
 
Christ was anointed,
He was commissioned,
To release us from our prison,
The darkness of this world…
