God’s Spirit is upon us

God’s Spirit is upon us,
Carrying the one same message,
Love to free, to bind us,
To give us eternal life…
 
We are gifted, commissioned,
Sent to do the work,
To free the captives hostage,
To set souls alight…
 
God’s Spirit us upon us,
Imbued with God’s love,
Called for a purpose, hope,
To open peoples’ hearts…
