I stand within the fortress – v2

I stand within the fortress,
within the protection of God;
I stand on His holy promises,
why should I live in fear?
 
I stand within the fortress,
within the arms of my Creator;
I stand on His holy promises,
that Christ’s sacrifice saves us…
 
I stand within the fortress,
within the sheepfold, the flock;
I stand on His holy promises,
as I go forward in life…
