People will live on this earth,
on this rich black soil,
Life will rise again
like a Kyivan sunrise…
The sun will rise over Donbas,
from the west to the east…
War will give way to peace…
Life will spring from this earth…
People will live on this earth,
together, as one people, united,
they will sustain each other in recovery,
from the effects of Moskal’s rage…
Life will come again,
as her children return home,
exiles from their homeland
will again live on this black soil…
People will live on this earth,
this nation will rise victoriously,
Life will be different, forever changed,
but Ukraine will rise again…
