planting seeds of rebellion
living, but not fully alive,
following darkness, the flesh,
storing up wrath
God’s condemnation
broken, shattered,
before the day of judgment...
choosing unwisely,
estranged from God...
 
every sin a judgement
a capital offense
against God’s standard
a scar upon my heart
each one of them written
remembered in heaven...
redeemed only by grace,
the sacrifice of Jesus,
the risen Son, the Lamb...
