Pilgrim, take heed, listen,
Give your heart, your will
to His words, to God’s love,
to the truth in holy scripture
to God’s promise of protection,
to how fully He provides...
Do not listen to Satan
Do not be forsaken
within the flesh, your body,
the false gods of the world
blessings only of vapor
the folly of wealth, of things,
the delusions of abundance
that only leads to the grave...
Come to me, oh God,
Speak to me clearly,
Fill me with Your bounty
Your promise to love me,
Breathe Your word on my heart
May I trust in You only
My hope in this life...
