Lord, I am #scared #poetry #God #confess #repent #forgive #amends

Lord, I am scared
as I enter this next step
to make amends
for the sin I caused
for footprints I have left...
 
Some of my harm
goes back decades
some I have harmed
are long dead
but I must give to You the power
to walk in righteousness...
 
Lord, I Iong for freedom
to walk in Your truth
help me to be faithful
to follow Your path
in all I say and do...
