Like a house of cards – v2

At a tipping point, a moment,
like a house of cards, a lie,
the buildings on a film set,
only a façade, a veneer,
lacking substance or depth…
 
He can see it clearly, certain,
decades of corruption, deep rot,
what is the moment, how they will fall,
we do not know yet, but it will happen
quickly, the cards will become as dust…
 
Prison for their evil, terror, their genocide,
a nightmarish future, a personal hell,
that they have earned in this life,
sorrow for the tyrant, the madman,
when all the cards fall down…

The weight of his failure – v2

A gross miscalculation,
the resolve of that people,
uniting the west, alliances,
against their plan for evil…
 
The weight of his failure,
his hubris, his ego, his crimes,
a millstone around the neck,
of his nation, his people…
 
A house of cards, a crime syndicate,
a false Tsar, a dictator, a terrorist,
in the bunker, in hiding, scheming,
but his time is now short…
 
The weight of his failures,
his crimes, his terror, self-evident,
all that he has conjured,
will come home to roost…
 
His collapse will come quickly,
how soon we know not yet,
a tipping point has been passed,
momentum is building, inevitable,
yes, his time is now short…

Each human life is important

As we live in this life, in this moment,
as we look at this war, this terror, this evil,
as we contemplate the choices, our actions,
where we stand, what lines we will cross,
we must hold fast to humanity, to our compassion,
for each human life is important, to be cherished,
we all are on the same planet, God’s children;
we breathe the same air…
 
We may become desensitize, numb to the terror,
to the evil that is before us, to the crimes, against children,
against the innocent, against communities, against the people,
but we must not let this become normal, we must reclaim
our compassion, our feeling, our humanity, together, united,
we must stand against the aggressor, against their evil, resolute,
we must say no to hate, to descend into the pit with them;
we must live our lives in love…

Like a house of cards, a lie,

what is the moment, how they will fall,
we do not know yet, but it will happen

A lost war of aggression

May his words be prescient,
this historian, this freed hostage,
May his words be a beacon, a prophesy,
Alive here in this moment, this now…
 
A lost war of aggression, collapse,
a toppling of this madman, this evil,
May these words be revealed quickly,
may his prophesy string to life…
 
So quickly could it happen,
without warning, in a few days,
the light of freedom will shine brightly,
over Europe, many time zones…
