The leader is unimportant, for there to be
change
that is needed, essential, for there to be peace,
He is a symptom of rot, not the cause of strife,
autocracy, power, this evil nation state,
a terrorist nation, unburdened
by the value of self, serfs instead,
Dead Souls, bodies documented,
valueless fodder for the cannons
for the march toward Empire…
The paradigm must change, forever,
But how will it be on time, in this moment,
a cancer, a virus, flows through their veins…
Gogol was right in his condemnation,
his assessment was on the mark,
the whole of Russia, the same evil,
baked in the cake, ingrained, resistant,
a virus indwelling, resurgent, autonomous,
outside of leadership, a manifestation of evil,
the Devil, hubris with the body,
a nation of “Dead Souls”, unfeeling,
not valuing human life autonomy,
individual identity, striving, progress,
settling for poverty, corruption, a wasteland,
at peace with nothing, without real hope…
Danger stalking in the Kremlin, in power,
the leader could be toppled, a coup,
an assassin at the ready, but the state
will not change, the paradigm is stuck
in the frozen wasteland, the expanse,
the myth of their people, the lies
that they have been told, propaganda,
for many generations, centuries
of spiritual subjugation, a toll too great
for peace to come within the system,
only to be defeated, to be dissolved,
destroyed, with nothing left…
