Thomas may get the bad rap
the nickname “Doubting
Thomas”;
but he was fully convicted;
in seeing the risen Christ
he proclaimed
out loud, with power, with
passion
the resurrection of Jesus
the Christ
in seeing Jesus, risen,
Christ raised from the dead
in touching Christ’s hands,
His side
Thomas went beyond the
others;
He was the first to proclaim
Christ Savior and Lord
How much more important
how much more powerful
is our own witness, our
testimony
to the sovereignty of Christ
for we are the ones Christ
spoke of
who did not see yet believe
