To stand for righteousness

The earthy calling
its spirit crying
too many dying
when they should live

Water here,
on this blue planet
crying out for justice
all over the earth

Called from our complacency
our complicity by omission
to stand for righteousness
to stand in the breach

Love should rain down
washing over us
crying out for water
for all those who thirst.
