Would that it was pouring

Would that it was pouring
ample water
raining down from heaven
all over the earth

Would that the droughts were ended
that the climate recovered
that we were conscious of our neighbors
all over the earth

Would that there was water
clean, potable
would that the faucets just ran
all over the earth

Would that our neighbors
our brothers and sisters
all pouring down, enough
all over the earth
