To Fulfill Them

The law, the prophets
all of the scripture
fulfilled in Jesus
how he lived his life

Sharing the father
the will of God
offering himself as a sacrifice
going to the cross

Teaching us in his servanthood
the living face of God
born in his image
made of the clay of earth

Speaking with power
to let the captives free
breaking the yoke of oppression
bowing to his knee

Lifting the people
bearing the light of God
the witness of his living
restoring us all
