With Jesus

Standing with our neighbors
half a world away
cheering with Jesus
in the square

Knowing he is with them
the oppressed set free
walking beside them
for life and liberty

The Messiah calling
that we would be clay
the salt of the earth
a light each day

Standing with the people
the oppressed to be free
not standing with the tyrants
in the name of security
