an epic, a heroic story
the Word of the living God
come to life in the pages
opening the life of Jesus
the Bible, many books
yet one story, Jesus
reading Jesus for the first
time
opening Jesus, again,
opening the pages of his
life
the pages of our future too
the Word alive, the Spirit
burning bright within us
one book forever, for all
time
with God, in God
the Word was God
there at the beginning
through the Word, life
the light of the world
opening Jesus, this book
the Bible, the sacred
writing
reading Jesus, the pages,
the story of his life
the Word alive, with us
abiding with us within
