as a people

as a nation

from the dust

from the earth

We rise

as ourselves

each one

unique, special

precious to God

We rise

beloved, wanted

alone, together

as God’s creation

God’s children on earth

We rise, we rise

at Your calling

from the dust

to our feet

into Your light
