God’s unconditional love
all of us part of the body
all gifted by God, blessed
rooted in God’s unmerited love
by this we may love.
The qualities of love
all of them grace, mercy
stretching that we may love
only by the indwelling
the Spirit of God guiding us.
Loved because God is love
forgiven though we sin
by this we are made able
to show love to our neighbors
unmerited, holy, grace.
