Let’s
see, what were those courses,
in
our seminary this semester;
Oh
yeah, they were -
Betrayal,
abandonment, death,
and
Christ’s resurrection.
At
the end of three years,
following
the Master,
this
was the sprint to the finals,
our
moments of confusion, of not feeling worthy
of
running away, of waiting at the cross,
fearing
after Friday, of hunkering down
only
to feel the joy of Sunday,
of
that first Fourth Day.
Out
beyond the grave
with
the Spirit coming
to
give us power
new-born
Christians
about
to embark on the Way.
