“Do
not weep, do not cry,”
Christ’s
compassion
for
the grieving mother;
No
one calling Him to come
God
is merciful, caring,
Christ
acted out of love,
healing
her broken heart.
“Do
not weep, do not cry,”
He
gently said to her
touching
the bier,
her
son rising
through
our risen Lord;
Her
son was reborn, restored
by
Christ’s loving touch.
