The girls and I, the members
of the congregation, walking
to the Capitol, under the
dome
down the street, on the main
street
walking for peace, to
rethink the
decision to fight, to raise
the Dogs of War,
to loose the terrorist threat,
the extremists in the sand,
in the streets
Captive in the desert, in
the heat,
on the ground for these many
months
watching the rise of
violence,
the growing threat, of long
delay
the tide turning. May we
have
days of peace, in the months
to come
