like the starfish thrower

standing at the shoreline

like the starfish thrower

working with a purpose

through the trials of life

knowing that we are small

not deserving favor

sharing love, compassion,

with our brothers, our neighbors

standing by the water

offering a word, comfort,

calling others to love,

to the grace of the Father
