the solid rock we can rely upon

the sure foundation of God

not the world’s sinking sand.

 

Rely on the foundation of God’s wisdom

eternal, unchanging, forever stable,

the sure foundation of God

not the world’s sinking sand.

 

Believe in the foundation of God’s wisdom

the sure proofs in holy scripture

the sure foundation of God

not the world’s sinking sand.

 

Trust in the foundation of God’s wisdom

the holy ground to stand on

the sure foundation of God

not the world’s sinking sand.
