Like
a storm in a basin
her
kitchen awash with puppies,
Yorkies
dashing from side to side
all
with tails wagging fast.
Whitecaps
barking
as
a flood in a bathtub,
far
too much commotion
to
hear each other speak.
A
swirl of motion
from
left to right
water,
puppies sloshing,
circling
to and fro.
