You are the Messiah, the Christ – v3

You are the Messiah, the Christ,
the Son of the Most High God;
You are the One foretold in scripture,
the One who was to come.
 
You descended from heaven,
You took on human flesh;
You fulfilled all holy scripture;
You died to give us life.
 
You rose to free us
from the bonds of sin, of death;
You were the one true sacrifice
offered once and for all time.
