An Act of Will

An act of will, a choice,
to rise with the morning,
a choice to move forward,
even in despair, in struggle,
in times of trial, or pain…
 
An act of will, a choice,
listening to our Creator,
for messages from God,
forcing ourselves to rise
out of bed, to seize the day…
 
An act of will, a choice,
seeing good in the morning
listening to words of scripture,
to God’s grace, His provision
the promises of God…
 
An act of will, a choice,
to see the good, to see hope,
the promises of God,
possibilities even when
we don't totally feel it…
 
An act of will, a choice,
to manifest a change in mindset,
hope overcoming fear,
abundance, joy in each
morning, each new day...
