We must embrace the morning

We must embrace the morning,
We must seize the new day,
overflowing with possibilities,
opportunities if we see them,
precious gifts from God…
 
We must embrace the morning,
We must climb out of our ruts,
inertia, complacency, fear,
the rhythms that bind us,
that hold us in the dust…
 
We must embrace the morning,
We must approach each moment,
in thanksgiving, in praise,
for possibilities dawning,
in our hope in today…
