A refrain repeating, amplified,
growing ever more urgent,
anguished cries of this people rising…
Let Ukraine Strike Back…
 
Too long has terror, genocide,
this evil, this carnage, gone
unchecked, carved out, allowed…
oh, Let Ukraine Strike Back…
 
Restrictions, fear, hesitation,
costing so many lives, terror,
unabated, hopes dashed, crying…
A prayer, Let Ukraine Strike Back…
 
Let Ukraine Strike Back…
let them strike the archers,
may the skies be freed, empty,
of Russia’s missiles, this terror…
