A just peace must rise – v4

A just peace must rise,
out of the crucible of terror
victory is only the first step
the doorway into a new age…
 
A just peace must rise,
to know they are safe within our spirits,
peace that passes understanding,
a just peace that will surely last…
 
A just peace must rise,
from terror, this carnage,
secure in our bodies, our lands,
safe from any new attack…
 
A just peace must rise,
for there to be true security,
the stain of war banished to the past,
a memory, never to rise again…
