The aggressor must be stopped,
their cruelty on full display,
their goal of death, of genocide,
destruction of this nation,
callous indifference to life,
to humanity, to the innocents…
Freezing in the darkness,
the long brutal winter coming,
too soon the temperatures will drop,
with no heat, no power, nothing truly,
but the ancient courage, the resolve,
of this brave, courageous people…
Millions in the dark, in the cold,
bitter temperatures will plummet,
lost in the geopolitics of the moment,
the delays, the hesitations, the fears,
not to torment the oppressor, the archers,
when the people stand in the breach…
Resolve their only hope, the unity of this people,
weathering on together, alone in their struggle,
because this is a fight for their nation’s survival,
the cold, nature itself, their enemy, the challenge,
because the world waited to assist them,
to fight against the face of evil…
The world must again unite, to aid in recovery,
to restore what was destroyed, to prepare
for more terror, their crimes of genocide,
to join them on the wall, the ramparts,
to stand on guard with them, to defeat
their plans for evil, to rise as civilization
beside this noble nation…
