Do we know Jesus

Do we truly know Jesus,
In our hearts, in our spirits,
Do we clean to the cross,
The way to eternal life…

Do we abide in the vine, His blessing,
Drawing our very breath
From the One who gives us life,
Are we part of the body,
The heart of Jesus Christ…

Do we really know Jesus,
The One who descended from heaven,
Who entered time, became mortal,
To give us each new life…

Do we abide in the vine, the body,
Do we drink of the waters of life,
Drawing life from His life,
His death and resurrection,
Our new life in Jesus Christ…

You forgave my iniquity,
Every sin I ever committed…
I fall in confession, in sackcloth,
at Your altar, Your throne…

I am shattered, I am broken,
But I confess to You freely…
I have nothing to hide from You, Lord,
Eternal God, Most High…

You reached down from heaven,
You plucked me from my pit…
You forgave me completely,
You gave me new life…

I am humbled; I am Your servant,
Another Prodigal who came home…
I bow down before You in worship,
In You I am restored…

look within your heart,
find God already waiting,
open your heart to God’s healing,
the balm of Jesus Christ…
Confess freely, openly,
hold nothing back…

be raw, transparent, honest,
for God knows everything already,
open the unhealed wounds you carry,
lay bare your soul, your living walk…
You have been forgiven already
When you accepted Jesus Christ…

God has redeemed you,
You are no longer dead,
You have a home in heaven,
You have been raised with Christ…
The Spirit is now indwelling
guiding your beating heart…

confess freely to the One who can heal you,
live your life for Christ, for others,
out of the grace you have been given,
be a light in this broken world…
God has raised you from the dead
through the finished work of Jesus…

The #Stench of Our #Prisons #sin #Ephesians4

An odor of repeated memory,
the ancient, the familiar,
of old habits, of comfort,
which we know so well…
We are the Jews in the desert,
crying to return to Egypt…

Wooed back from freedom,
into the prisons we have created,
the door that was opened,
from our new life in Christ Jesus…
Walking in the heavenly light
away from the glowering darkness…

The stench of our empty jail cell calls us,
We can conjure every inch of its domain,
the same colors, the same dimension,
familiar, our prisons, this utter darkness…
Falling into our well-worn ruts
in the way of our flesh…

We came out of our cells,
Freed from our burdens, our chains,
through a door Christ opened
into His glorious light…
But we are drawn to our idols -
We return to our comfort, our chains…

We must shake off the shackles,
the chains of the familiar,
everything that holds us captive…
We must turn our backs on our prison…
We must boldly follow Jesus…
We must walk in His light…

conjured from the ether,
words in complete sentences,
a web of lies, of contrivance,
to fill the gaps, the big lie…
A conspiracy, a false god,
a slave to this moment, a patsy,
a canard of a story unraveling,
sacrificed in this moment, in real-time…

His foot on the gas, embracing chaos,
a meme, a distraction from reality,
a cry from the darkness, despair,
a heavy block chained to the pedal
driving the narrative, a gamer…
Living blackpill acceleration,
driven to destruction, to entropy,
to abstraction, to a smirk, a tweak,
negation of any consequence…

Fatalism, loss in shock, in motive,
A smoke screen, a room of mirrors,
nihilism, anarchy, terror without thought,
nothingness glorified, all-consuming,
to be seen by the club, the posse…
Life of the powerless, a life
outside the rules, accelerating,
away from his computer screen,
running to the darkness, to death…

“Ambiguity is the shibboleth”,
credibility with the in-crowd, standing,
meaning in the moment, in the action,
memes of the toxic, apocalypse,
where nothing will survive, glorified…
Secret handshakes, a subculture,
nothing in our future, beyond
inevitable collapse, ruin,

the big lie repeated, a rhythm,
Orwell would be shaken,
a propaganda machine churning,
singing from the same pages
gaslighting an entire nation,
knowing what was coming,
armed to the teeth, weaponized
with lies, with manipulation…

False flags, lies, disinformation,
the big lie of the moment,
repeated, repeated,
finding the biggest platform
to spew the bile of hate,
to accuse the Other,
projection of their anger

Foot on the gas, chaos,
a heavy block chained to his foot,
living blackpill acceleration,
driven to destruction, to entropy,
to abstraction, to a smirk,
negation of consequence…

Fatalism, loss in shock, in motive,
nothingness glorified, all-consuming,
to be seen by the club, the posse,
life of the powerless, a life
outside the rules, accelerating,
running to the darkness, to death…

“Ambiguity is the shibboleth”,
memes of the toxic, apocalypse,
secret handshakes, a subculture,
nothing in our future, beyond
inevitable collapse, ruin,
Foot on the gas, to oblivion...

If #Russia is not stopped in #Ukraine – v3 #NATO #Poland #Romania #Estonia

Our worst fears are being realized,
stumbling toward Armageddon…
Drones flying into Poland,
NATO is responding with arms,
on the doorstep of Belarus,
because we were so timid,
so weak against hybrid war,
the terror of genocide…

We cannot live in delusions,
wishing away reality, this truth,
hoping peace will come quickly,
that the stars would align magically,
that his lusts would be vanquished,
that his goals would be quieted,
peace of its own accord, rising,
that the leopard would change its spots…

The brutal warlord, the man in the bunker,
this mass murderer of his people, of nations,
bent on genocide, on terror, on destruction
of one of its closest neighbors…
He will not stop, he will not relent,
giving up dreams of empire, of expansion,
willing to destroy everything, everyone,
happy to govern scorched earth…

If Russia is not stopped in Ukraine,
if Russia is not defeated, now,
Russia will not stop with Ukraine,
attacking other nations, other neighbors,
seeking to fulfill, to achieve,
subjugation of other people, lands,
to reconstitute a defeated empire,
that lives in his fevered dreams…

Fears leave them frozen, timid…
Diplomatic words mean nothing,
deliberate premeditated terror,
nothing like a mistake, an accident,
Acts of war against NATO…
We'd better arm Ukraine
to defeat Russia in Ukraine,
to avoid Armageddon…

Weasel words: “Air Space violations”,
but Polish SIM cards were in the drones,
extra fuel for terror, for provocation,
more than hybrid war, intrusion,
cyber-attacks, as normal…
This was kinetic war, terror,
Acts of War against NATO…

Pathetic words of concern, not outrage,
tempered by experience, by history,
fearing nuclear war, escalation,
caught in the same Cold War trap,
The poker bluff of the chess players…
The aggression of Russia so familiar,
Eastern Europe in its grips…
