Christ making a choice
coming to earth as a man
donning human flesh
He could have let us die
to each go to the cross
to pay for our own sin
yet for this He can
Descending from heaven
stepping down from His throne
coming to the cross,
wearing a crown of thorns instead
going to the grave in our place
