Wearing Our Stain

Though He was holy
garbed in shimmering light
unblemished, becoming the sacrifice

Christ took on our sin
wearing our stain
all of this put onto him
that we would be restored

God going to the cross
love coming down
taking on the weight of our lives
that we would live again
