Awaken our lives
the automation
thoughtless sleep
unfocused in our frenzy
Call us back Lord
into Your presence
away from the world
to Your manger bed
Remind us of Your sacrifice
in leaving the heavens
not just going
humbly to the cross
Change us, in this season
to act more purposely
joy, fully alive
doing Your holy work
