We Look Forward

In our waiting, hopeful
sure of His promise
God will fulfill
everything He has said

We look forward
for the coming Christ-child
as real now
as in the days long ago

We look forward
filled with hope
to the return of the Savior
riding on the clouds

Coming to bring us
to gather us in
the lost sheep to heaven
to our eternal reward
