I can see our Sacred Dancers

I can see our Sacred Dancers

I can feel the weight of the palm

the stem moving in my hands

I hear Kirk Franklin shouting,

“Hosanna, what’s His name...”

So much we have lost

the social distancing rules

Palm Sunday seems so different

in this time of Covid

the turning of another year...
