One day we shall be in Paradise

All of us the thief beside Jesus

crying out in anguish

hanging on our cross

condemned for our sin

All of us denying God

the love that God offered

all of us since Adam

all are guilty of sin

But one day, one day

one day we shall be in Paradise

because Christ gave His life

to redeem us from sin

One day we shall be in Paradise

this is Christ’s promise

true for the thief that day

and for each one of us
