The path set before us

The path set before us

We cannot see, or at least not usually,

the hand of God in the road we walk

there may be signs but we cannot see them

we don’t see that there was a plan, a purpose,

we feel like we are wandering alone in the world;

But there is a way, a plan, meaning,

in the path set before us, in the steps,

the decisions, seemingly by our free will

God makes a way, a path through the desert

God knows our steps before the beginning of time.
